OVERALL REFLECTION 

Internship Phase II at LVHS, POTHENCODE


    Appertaining our B.Ed curriculum teacher training batch 2017-19 of Sree Narayana Guru Krupa B.Ed college Pothencode had II phase internship at Lakshmi vilasam High School, Pothencode from 7th November 2018 to 11th January 2019. The aim of internship was to provide us with  numerous perks which gives experience, develop skill and provide us an idea about the function of the school and its authorities also provide us with direct experience.
LVHS- a school with variant and vibrant experience. From 7th November 2018 the II  phase of our internship began. I was allotted 9th class where I dealt with Part 2 text of English Unit 4 and 5. The class I was allotted with was 9th I, the first ever batch of students I taught. This two months in school I able to be a part and give a contribution the best way. We did all we can, such as from invigilation duty to leadership duties we were assigned in school which we were able to perform very well. We had many functions at school like sports event and hostel inauguration, a day in the reminiscence of our Principal Shri Prafulla Chandra, food fest, quiz competition, kalolsavam, science fest etc.
Other than all these we did ground duty, block duty, mess duty and learned about the different aspects and functioning of the school. To asses the performance of the students diagnostic and achievement test was conducted.
            With lot of moments and memories to remember the two phases of our teaching practice thus ended up here and with a happy note we step down. 30 days was really days filled up with lot of craziness, fun, works and many more.
Not only did the experience ignite my enthusiasm working at the school, but it reminded me my school days.
This internship was a U turn in my life as I got a chance to step foot in school after 6 long years, but this time not as a student but as a teacher. This internship has taught me more than I could ever have imagined.  I feel my duties were diverse, and ever-changing. Sometimes it’s tough to recall everything I have taken in over the past months, but I feel that there are some of the most beneficial lessons I have learned which I will cherish and follow in my life forever. My class 9 I, the first ever batch of students i taught and Soumya teacher(one of the best human i ever met) thank you all for your support.
The world is ours to change and we can do so many amazing things once we recognize all our potential and come together.  “Don’t forget where you came from but never lose sight of where you are going for all things are possible in life with positive energy and love.”

     In a way this internship was really a great experience, This made me realise that once you realise all your potential and come together we can do anything in our life. I am really happy that I was able to complete the given responsibilities to me and was able to fulfill the aim of internship. In all the sense these 2 months, it was really marvelous.

     Thus with the hope of meeting again and long last promises we bid farewell, step foot out of school to a new beginning, promising to meet again. I was happy and felt blessed and proud for be in such a great profession- TEACHER.
