Wall Hanging

'TENTURE'

        Wind chime and wall hangings are common things which is used to decorate house. These are significantly beautiful and are very attractive. As a part of SUPW, i have made wall hanging with old, broken,waste things found at home, and have named it 'TENTURE'.

Materials Required:
1) Newspapers
2) Cardboard
3) Colors
4) Brush
5) Scissors
6) Gum
7) Needle and thread
8) Broken mirror
9) Laces
10) Ribbon
11) Beads
12) Glittering stones

 Step by step instructions:

 Step 1- Take a few sheets of newspaper and cut it into long strands and roll it into the form of long pipes. Then paste these strands on cardboard. Thus for one cardboard 23 roll is required.

                                                                                       Step 2- After pasting the paper roll on to the
cardboard cut of the extra pieces of the paper. Then mix up the colour with fevicol to get a shining effect and then paint it. In the same way make again newspaper rolls and do the same procedure with two other cardboard pieces. Paint these and keep it to set dry. Finally we get three colourful pieces which act as a base for wall hanging.


                                                                                       Step 3-  Take a piece of lengthy lace and cut
the lace based on the side of the cardboard. Then with the help of fevicol paste those cut laces on the four side of the cardboard. Do the same with other two.














   Step 4- Again make a few rolls of
newspaper pipes. Take a roll, flatten it and again make a roll which will result in a cylindrical form. Like this again make 10-15 rolls of newspaper and then colour and set it to dry. After that, take some pieces of broken mirror and paste it on the cylindrical roll.

                                                                                       Step 5- Take some roll made from the pipe
form of newspaper. It will look like in cylindrical form. Push the roll from inside and make it in the form of a tomb. Thus make seven roll from the roll of the newspaper. After making the tomb colour it with green and set it to get dry. After it get dry paste fevicol around the tomb and paste beads on it. And also paste lays around the body. Thus, do the same with all the other seven tomb pieces.









   Step 6- Take the coloured cardboard and
paste the cylindrical roll on the four corners as well as in the middle. Thus one piece of the cardboard requires five tools. In the middle around the roll paste glittering stone. On one board eight glittering stones are required. Do the same with other two.













Step 7- Take the piece of tomb and with the
help of thread and needle insert thread into it and tie a knot inside so that while hanging, the thread won't come out. Also insert different shapes of beads to make it more attractive. Thus do the same with the others, which will result in the bunch of hangings. These hangings are made to connect to the two edges of the cardboard as in the form of hanging.


Step 8-  Knit the tomb hanging to the two edges of the cardboard and hang the cardboard vertically. Paste all the round made at the four corner and middle.
Now we have to connect all the three pieces of cardboard. Take a lengthy piece of ribbon and paste it at the back of the cardboard and thus connect the remaining two. Make a small hanging with the ribbon to hang 'tenture'. At each joining point of the ribbon paste the round roll of paper with stones on it and with the help of thread and needle tie up all the tombs. And thus the wall hanging is ready.
